Auction Result Sat 4 Dec – 14 Hill St, Box Hill South – SOLD $930,000

December 8, 2010 Leave a comment

Another very successful sale in Box Hill South over the weekend!  This comfortable home on a large, north-facing block fetched a fantastic $930,000 at auction on Saturday.

Take a look at the home on Fletchers website –

Here’s what the happy vendors had to say:

Our Family wish to thank Alan Bramich & Tim Heavyside on the successful sale of our Family Home last weekend.  We are thrilled with the result from the Auction and the professional, friendly, honest and efficient manner in which the whole campaign was run. We are very happy that we chose Fletchers for the sale of our property and would have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone looking for an agent who dots the “i”s & crosses the “t’s with a minimum of fuss.  Tim also managed the auction across the line with the best possible result.  We have used a lot of Real Estate Agents in the past in our business and personal lives and Fletchers have surpassed them all.

Catch me on Ch7’s “UNDER THE HAMMER” next Wednesday 8 Dec, 8.00-8.30pm

December 3, 2010 Leave a comment

Yes, it’s been a while but I’m back on your TV screen!

Channel 7’s new real estate documentary series “Under The Hammer” re-started this week, and the footage they shot of one of my auction campaigns will air next Wednesday.  The series will be on through the summer season, every Wednesday 8.00-8.30pm on Channel 7.  I hope you manage to check it out – here’s the clip from this week’s episode (including the preview of my bit next week at the end) for you to have a look at.  The video quality breaks down a bit at the end – it seems to be an issue at their end, so I apologise about that, but it’s still watchable.

I hope people will support the programme – if you’re into Property in any way, it’s a great inside look at what goes on in the world of real estate, from all sides of the equation.

Helping out a local Primary School

December 1, 2010 Leave a comment

I was lucky enough to be asked to help out Our Lady’s Primary School in Surrey Hills with their school projects recently.  The students designed and built houses and then auctioned them off to classmates.  As I have Primary-school-aged kids myself, I really enjoyed helping the students to learn more about real estate and the auction process.

As you can see in the attached article, they were quick learners and I’ll have to watch my back in coming years or I might be out of a job!

Thanks to the Principal, teachers and of course the students at Our Lady’s Primary School for the rewarding experience.
